The Summit Metal Systems S-1 is an all metal portable freestanding T-hangars that does not require electric and uses a counter balanced and spring loaded main door with two vertically bi-folding wing box doors. it will easily accommodate most single and light twin aircraft and has a clear opening of over 41 feet wide and 10'-10" in height. It can be installed on concrete or asphalt or on existing ramps and abandoned runways or with concrete piers on dirt or sod or it can be installed on a concrete foundation and pad. The Standard unit nests easily and can be erected by two people of average construction or mechanical ability in less than a week.
